Legal
Privacy notice
This covers the contact form and email on this site. It is a factual description of what the site does, not legal advice.
Controller
GModConsulting is the controller for enquiries sent through this site. Contact: contact@gmodconsulting.com.
What we collect
If you use the contact form we receive the contact methods you chose (Discord, Steam, email), the handles or addresses you typed for those methods, the topic, the message, your consent, and basic technical metadata needed to receive and protect the form submission (time of send, source IP for rate limiting, and the ALTCHA verification result). Direct email to contact@gmodconsulting.com is ordinary email.
Legal basis
For the form: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) / RODO art. 6 ust. 1 lit. a). You tick the box before send. You can withdraw consent later by emailing us; that does not undo a reply we already sent. Direct email to us is processed so we can answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f), depending on whether we already have a contract).
Why
We use that information only to reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to run the engagement. We do not sell it, publish it, or use it for marketing lists.
Who sees it
Messages go through a self-hosted dsforms instance and a small ALTCHA verification proxy, then to contact@gmodconsulting.com. dsforms stores submissions in our own SQLite database so we can review, export, and delete them. ALTCHA is used as a privacy-friendly proof-of-work anti-spam check; it does not use tracking cookies or send the challenge to Google, Cloudflare, or another CAPTCHA network.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept as long as needed to reply and for ordinary business records (for example if a conversation becomes a paid engagement). You can ask us to delete an enquiry that did not turn into work.
Cookies
This site does not set analytics, advertising, or other optional cookies. We do not run a cookie banner because there is nothing optional to accept. If we add analytics later, the banner and this notice will change first.
ALTCHA submits a proof-of-work payload with the form. By default this is a normal form field, not a tracking cookie.
Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK you can ask for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion, by emailing contact@gmodconsulting.com. If you think we have mishandled your data you can complain to your local supervisory authority (in Poland, UODO).
